There were “people problems” in the church at Philippi (4:2–3), and Paul urged the members to look beyond their friendship with Euodia and Syntyche and to remember their loyalty to the Lord. If every believer would obey Paul’s admonition when people disagree in the church, we’d have fewer divisions and church splits.
